Abel Engineering Professionals, Inc. (AEP), a consulting Civil Engineering and Surveying firm, was founded in 1985 to provide services to private and public entities. AEP includes Engineering, Surveying, Environmental, and Computer Aided Drafting departments. Our staff of 25 works together to complete specific project tasks while possessing the flexibility to be assigned to other departments to accommodate non anticipated work loads. This diversity in disciplines enables AEP to perform like a much larger firm. AEP supports and encourages its staff to pursue advancement through state licensing, continuing education, professional training and seminars. This ensures all personnel stay current with the changing needs of private and public projects regarding techniques and responsibilities. Relationships with several other companies give us the ability to use resources like photogrammetry, architecture, and geotechnical as if they were an inclusive company department.

AEP expanded in 1989 to provide a full range of land surveying and mapping services including property and boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys and construction layout surveys. AEP utilizes the latest GPS and computer based technology. Many of these surveys are provided in conjunction with AEP engineering projects at the onset of a project assuring technically accurate and complete projects. We employ experienced and professional personnel who not only are knowledgeable about the mechanics of surveying, but also understand the legal and environmental constraints inherent in their work. Their knowledge of engineering design and construction procedures is invaluable on the project site where they provide the critical translation of design plans to actual physical locations in the field.
